1. Hands down, today was one of the coldest days in my life, if not the coldest. For the first time ever, I got windburn on my cheeks. It stung, it hurt. Oh my. It feels like -2°F now. I calculated how much I walk everyday and today I walked a little over 5 miles. That’s alot of time out in the cold. I ended up wearing 2 pair of pants by the end of the day

3. If anyone wants to go to the NY Model Management 07/08 show party (tomorrow), let me know, I’ll hook you up. We don’t socialize in those settings so it’s a wasted invite.
Awesomeness: I went to Urban Outfitters today in Soho in hopes they would have my ankle boots I desperately want (the only size that is sold out online is of course my size) but they didn’t, boohoo. While I was there though I tried on some jeans and surprisingly fell in love with them. What was even more amazing then finding jeans I like was seeing their $60 pricetag ring up for $0.10. Yes, a dime! I saw it and I went "A dime?" and the sales clerk was like "OH, UM, yes, a dime. Well I can’t give it to you for a dime, but how about $4.99". Where I exclaimed "Um, SURE!" as I wasn’t going to argue about the dime. So I just took my jeans for $55.01 off the price and skipped my merry way up Broadway! YAY!
We never have pitas so we usually just make this as a pasta dish. A quick and delicious "cold" meal.
1 pound Rotini, Twists or Spirals, uncooked
3 oz. sliced pepperoni (about 3/4 cup)
4 oz. sliced Provolone cheese (about 1 cup)
12 cherry tomatoes, halved (about 1 1/2 cups)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup non-fat Italian salad dressing
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1 green bell pepper, ribs and seeds removed, sliced into rings
2 1/2 7-inch rounds of pita bread
Prepare pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking, cut pepperoni slices into fourths and slice the Provolone cheese into matchstick-size pieces. Place in a large bowl. Add cherry tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, Italian dressing, Italian seasoning and garlic.
When pasta is done, drain and rinse with cold water. Drain again. Add pasta to cheese mixture and mix well. Quarter the pita bread rounds and place around a large platter. Top with pasta salad and garnish with green pepper rings.

I saw this story yesterday and thought it was amazing. I’m upset by how the media is treating these guys. Matthew and I were just discussing how the media doesn’t know what to with the new generation of the technology/satire/marketing based and so they go straight to "They are bad, we are good". It’s pathetic. I just read this op piece from a Boston Newspaper and the writer angered me so much. It’s back to name calling and elementary style games. Makes me want to… make lite brite signs of Wubba and cause mass hysteria. Boston needs to chill out. People need to chill out. Those art pieces were adorable at the most. I would have taken pictures wtith them.
When they were released today, they held this press conference. It’s completely real. And perhaps the best event ever. *LOVE*
