Simian @ AMNH
WTF. No one told me that The American Museum of Natural History had shows let alone booking acts like Simian Mobile Disco. :[
Flat Stanley
Matthew and I are participating in the Flat Stanley Project. Flat Stanley will be shipped back to Ohio in a few weeks, but hes been enjoying his visit so far. Here’s his walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, he’s already a skilled New York walker – very impatient!

Wubba
I forget where this picture is from but I saw it somewhere and all I see is Mr. Wubbas nose in the background. Anyone else?
Surface Magazine
Its a little old, but I don’t think we ever posted the images from Surface Avant Guardian issue.
You can see the full story (and uncropped images

Zink, April 2008
New story out now. We really love how the story came together and the new direction the work is continuing to take, but can we just go on record and say that we had no input on the title. Titles are really important to our projects as its the introduction of the world we’ve created, but sadly when we got an advance copy of the magazine and saw what they named it, even Xanadu scowled. We had a few people ask us about the title and we agree that it’s really ugh. :( Oh well, ignore the title and enjoy Lucia’s augmented world!
Pink Bunny Birthday
Today was Pink Bunny’s Annual Birthday Bash/Easter Party. It was loads of fun and offered delicious Pinky inspired cupcakes!

Sideways Book Launch
Tonight we attended the "Sideways: A Smart Art Project" book launch. It’s a new SMART book to raise awareness to how we think about the environment, especially in the transportation sense. The project combines the work of 100 international contributors
in collaboration with 11 international magazines (Dazed/Neo2/Wad/Tokion and others). The book is full of artists working in photography, sculpture, drawing and other mediums that provided work that they thought revolved around the idea of change in how we live and how we can all become a little more aware. Besides the eco friendly message that we welcome, the other amazing part was that the party was held in what I say was probably the most amazing space I’ve ever been in my life, World Trade Center 7 – 52nd Floor. They also had amazing chocolate deserts (which had some fancy name that wasn’t "amazing chocolate deserts").
Childhood Candy
Lately I’ve been having a craving for my childhood sweets, so upon not being able to find them locally, I found a store online that sells individual packages of all our favorite vintage candy. My favorite: Fun-Dips, Bottle Caps, Flying Saucers and those amazing lipsticks. What are your favorites?
My splurge.
ePortfolio
Why not go 1 step further and make a video of your portfolio. Just something fun.
