Food Chain Friends
Food Chain Friends are from Daro, a small green planet much like Earth was 200 million years ago. Daro teems with wildlife, and its exceptionally social and gracious species flourish in a complex – but oddly, very friendly – ecosystem. They’re friends. They eat each other. It’s a complicated relationship!
Site is back up!

We had to take our site down for a few hours today. One of the "gif" images was hotlinked on a very popular site and got like 1,000 hits in a few minutes (x more hours until we became aware).

Transparent Head
A bizarre deep-water fish called the barreleye has a transparent head and tubular eyes. Since the fish’s discovery in 1939, biologists have known the eyes were very good at collecting light. But their shape seemed to leave the fish with tunnel vision. Now scientists say the eyes rotate, allowing the barreleye to see directly forward or look upward through its transparent head.
