Garden: 13 Weeks

This week has been a downer for the pumpkins and baby cats. We took a trip for a week (that was nice), before we left we had major wind storms on the roof and when we returned my pumpkin is dead. Also Brother Bear is sick. And we had to buy a new bed because Brother bear is sick (TMI?). Here goes.

Here are the pumpkins. Do you see the white spots? Powdery Mildew is what it’s called, caused by either too much rain or some bad particles in the air. I got some fungicide today and sprayed them. Hoping for the best.

Remember my pumpkin that I brought to life? Here’s where I found it when I returned from our trip… on the ground dead. So sad, I cried (really). Off to the compost bin for worms to love.. will be in the soil next year. <3
