I like Arby’s. Some people think that’s gross, but I don’t know many of those people. My type of friend would always think Arby’s is delicious. I haven’t had Arby’s though in 5+ years. I love their cheese and curly fries. Oh my, so good. So last night Matthew asked if we could have roast beef sandwiches for dinner the following day. So here we go…it’s too easy. This recipe will become a favorite. It’s so good. Don’t even get me started on how the leftovers will taste too.
From this.. To this:
Recipe behind the cut.
2.5 pounds roast (this can be increased to 3-4 if you want)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 packet of onion soup mix (I like beef onion because we’re.. using beef)
A pinch of garlic powder
1/2 cup water
To make the sandwiches:
Rolls (get nice ones, spoil yourself)
Cheddar Cheese (+milk/flour)
Just throw the meat, brown sugar, onion soup mix, garlic powder and water in the crock pot.
Put the lid on. Now just wait…
For 8 hours on low, then 1 hour on high.
I swear everytime I use the crock pot, a cat takes over the bag as a bed.
When you open it up, it will smell like pure delight.
When you cut it, it will fall apart. MMMMMMMMMMM.
During this time I will begin to make cheese to put on top of this sandwich. I cut up some chunks of cheddar cheese and put them on medium heat.
I’ll add in a little bit of milk and a little bit of flour. Taste it, it’s real good.
Enjoy! This is so good, trust me.
