Wonton Soup

Tonight I folded my first wonton wrapper and made some delicious wonton soup.  Look, you need to try this.  This is Boss Level Soup.  Probably one of the best thing I’ve ever made..

Ingredients:
1/2 pound boneless pork loin
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon rice wine
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 teaspoon fresh ginger root
24 wonton wrappers
3 cups chicken broth
fresh scallions per preference

This is the recipe I used with my own tweaks up above per ingredients. If you notice I didn’t include shrimp or Matthew would have a fit, so we just used pork loin.

No, it’s not what you think it is.  It’s actually ginger root rolled up to freeze.

I had no idea how to fold a wonton, so I had to YouTube it.
