We had some apples left over from the apple orchard adventure so before they go bad I decided to make some cold apple cider – I love this stuff.
It’s super easy to make – cut up your apples into quarters (just cut the seeds out – dont peel your apples!) and add water, sugar, cinnamon and allspice. Boil for one hour, then cover and simmer for 2 hours. Strain twice and refrigerate. It’s that easy!

More behind the cut.
I used this recipe but added more sugar to taste. I lowered the serving for 7 apples and this still made a ton..
See how much this made? Alot! Although the jar to the left is already gone… *whistles*
MMMM fresh apple cider, delicious.
Ingredients are very basic. This is simple!
Add your spices in and you got some Witches Brew.
The colors start to disappear on the apples.
After about 2.5 hours…
Throw this gunk away afterwards after straining.
I strain twice, once with a wire mesh strainer then with some cheese cloth. Strain more if you have to..
Enjoy! It’s going to make your kitchen smell great too.
