Pasta salad is a summer treasure. Easy and delicious! I made this for our 4th of July cookout.
Get some pasta (I prefer tri color pasta – makes it more prettier), get whatever vegetables you like, sprinkle in some herbs, add dressing. Put in the refrigerator for a few hours, serve! What’s better then pasta salad? Left over pasta salad.. gets better the day after. Nom Nom Nom.
What I use: Tri Color Rotini, Celery, Green Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes, Black Olives, Fresh Basil, Fresh Oregano, Small amount of Mozzarella Cheese, Italian Dressing
I have no idea why I capitalized some of those words.
Boil some water, add some sea salt and cook your pasta. Rinse and drain.
Cut up vegetables and herbs, toss in bowl.
Mix in cheese and Italian Dressing (I used about a whole bottle but this was alot of pasta – put in enough until you like how it tastes). Also when I take it out of the fridge before serving, I like to add a little bit more dressing so it’s not super dry. Per dressing, I get the “light” version and usually Wishbone or Kraft.
Serve (in a bowl with bats on it on for the 4th of July? sure why not!), enjoy.
