My dad and I are really close, he’s one half of my best friend team. So today when I saw this goodie box in the mail, I know it was the yearly Easter treat. We send gifts to each other for every holiday, it’s the best. I surprised him with some diabetic friendly brownies which I bet he didn’t even realize were made with black beans because he sent a email this morning praising them with a bunch of exclamation points (surprise! hahaha).

First, there’s a cat – well there’s 2, one plush, one chocolate. I’ll be honest, my dad hasn’t always been a cat person, it’s taken many years to come around to it, but when he met Xanadu, he fell hard. He fell hard he actually has a Xanadu section set up on one of his tables in his house, it’s a shrine practically. There’s pictures, books, figurines, it’s amazing. I love it! And now he’s buying cat goodies.. who would have thought!

This is the cat.. Cashmere! Funniest part, that’s my dad’s birthday too. WAS THIS PLANNED?

So cute, when I eat cute chocolates, I save the heads for last. I’m not sure if that is nice or creepy.

Sour patch kids are one of my favorite candies, and look at the cute packages they come in. They’re actually cups that can be reused when the candies are gone.

This all led to Xanadu having the best time for a good 20 minutes of throwing the plastic off the table, picking it back up in her mouth, jumping up on the table, kicking it off again. Repeat 30 times.
Thanks Papa!
